Research shows that HR managers are not in favor of including photos and that inclusion of a photo can have “an adverse effect” on their impression of the candidate. If you are requested to include a photo on your resume, choose a sensible photo with a plain background (preferably a passport photo), don’t cut your face out of a group photo taken at a social occasion, keep it professional at all times.
